What is CallSpider®?

CallSpider® is a VoIP Broadcast Messaging System that helps you respond quickly to critical situations by easily broadcasting urgent messages such as revised staff deployment, crisis management, or security alerts through a user friendly web portal.

How does CallSpider® work?

Simply log into your secure web portal, create a message, chose who to send it to, and schedule your message. Simple as 1-2-3! CallSpider's® Datalink can integrate seamlessly with your existing applications and database to automatically trigger recurring and event-based messages.

How many names can I have in my list?

You may have as many names as you need. The number of lists or groups is virtually unlimited.

How many different lists can I have?

From your main list you can filter an unlimited number of sub-lists to send messages to: from your whole organization down to a single person!

Can CallSpider® send a message to one person?

Sure! CallSpider can send a message from your whole organization down to one individual!

How do I know a message was received and not left on voicemail?

During urgent delivery, CallSpider® requests the called person dial a number acknowledging receipt of the message.

How does CallSpider® place calls?

CallSpider® places calls through VoIP peering. VoIP peering enables CallSpider® to allow customers to place calls when needed while maintaining very low monthly ongoing costs compared to having enough traditional phone lines in place to accommodate the calls.

How do we keep our information private?

As opposed to hosted systems, your data never resides on any system outside of your organization. Your data also never has to travel through the internet, decreasing chances of identity theft. CallSpider® operates on Linux for resistance to viruses, and has a built-in firewall to protect your data from hackers. CallSpider® is immune to SQL injections and data leaks. You can also limit access by IP address and Windows directory files.

Why an onsite system?

Applied Messaging has specifically designed CallSpider® as an onsite system. While onsite and hosted systems both have their advantages, onsite systems' advantages far outweigh those of hosted systems. While an onsite system has higher initial costs, the savings really add up over time!

Is CallSpider® reliable?

Yes! CallSpider® is configured with UPS, redundant power supplies, RAID hard drives and multiple carriers to ensure reliable message delivery. In the unlikely event both servers fail, such as during a cataclysmic disaster like a major hurricane, Applied Messaging can send your messages. We archive your database quarterly. Simply call our 24/7 Customer Support line and we will arrange to have messages sent for you from our Network Operations Center. This allows you to enjoy all the advantages of an onsite system while maintaining a hosted system's ability to send calls from a different location in case of a local emergency.

Can CallSpider® be rack mounted?

Certainly. We can configure for rack mount or supply a tower.

Scalable?

Yes! CallSpider® is highly scalable. Since CallSpider® uses Voice over Internet Protocol, it easily supports hundreds of concurrent SIP calls based on allocated bandwidth.
